As parts of Church of the Resurrection's 35th Year Celebration, The Rev. Adam Hamilton preached a sermon series entitled "Why Church?". In these sermons Rev. Hamilton ties the work of Church of the Resurrection to the Vision of The UMC to "form disciples of Jesus Christ who, empowered by the Holy Spirit, love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously in local communities and worldwide connections."
Each sermon covers a different topic related to the vision and comes with a 7-day devotional series. We encourage local church leaders to watch these sermon videos and contemplate the ways their congregations "love boldly, serve joyfully and lead courageously" in their own ministries.
