When we describe the vibrant ways that The United Methodist Church is serving Christ around the globe, we allow our members to join God’s ministry in tangible ways. We do that most effectively as we share stories that offer members glimpses of how their dollars are at work around the world.
The Connectional Giving Team works to increase visibility, awareness, and financial support for the connectional ministries of The United Methodist Church: apportioned funds, Special Sundays with offerings, and designated giving—The Advance and World Services Special Gifts.

- Develops and implements strategic marketing plans to encourage generosity and giving to connectional causes.
- Creates resources that encourage giving to specific funds.
- Enhances a spirit of generosity and connectionalism through educational resources.
