U.S. Regionalization

In 2019, the Connectional Table proposed the formation of a regional conference in the United States.

In response to the passage of regionalization legislation at General Conference 2020/24, United Methodists within the United States will now be represented by a new regional conference body made up of U.S. delegates (clergy and lay) to the General Conference and jurisdictional conferences. This body will hold its first official conference in the spring of 2029. This purpose of this page is to provide updated information on the planning, formation, and priorities of the U.S. Regional Conference.
