Welcome to the 2022 World Communion Sunday Pastor and Leaders' Kit. This Special Sunday kit provides a full package of ready-to-use resources to help your church celebrate World Communion Special Sunday and define how we give, why we give and the impact we make through connectional efforts.
All resources are available in digital format and we encourage you to use them in the best format that works for your church. Use the worship material during the service, include the prewritten emails in newsletters, share videos during class or post the social media graphics on your website and social channels. For those who still appreciate print resources, we have a special envelope and pew cards that can be ordered here. The resources are for you to engage in the ministry of Human Relations Day.
For suggestions on how to use the material, there is a how-to guide or for those who value a schedule, the planning calendar is the perfect way to consolidate all the opportunities. This year, the official date for World Communion Sunday is Oct. 2, 2022, but we encourage you to celebrate on a day that works best for your church.

Without your generosity, this ministry could not be achieved! You gave $473,970 last year toward ministries funded by the World Communion Special Sunday offering. Your gifts support racial and ethnic students in achieving their educational goals while also transforming communities. Fifty percent of the offering provides scholarships for graduate students from the U.S. and other countries. Thirty-five percent supports ethnic scholarships for undergraduate students. Fifteen percent funds in-service training programs for racial and ethnic persons.
