To live out its mission to make disciples, The United Methodist Church must continue to invest in the training and support of the next generation of pastors and leaders. Our seminaries provide a meeting place for the head, heart and hands of the church as students learn how to apply Christian teachings to service in the world. For many who feel called to ministry or service, the demands and cost for a seminary education can be daunting, but the church offers help to its seminarians through the Ministerial Education Fund. This apportioned fund provides scholarships and financial assistance that allow students to follow their calling to ministry and service.
