GCSRW across the connection
During the summer months, GCSRW staff will be traveling across the connection to attend annual conferences and key denominational events. If you see us along the way, be sure to say hello!
Staff will attend the following annual conferences: Alabama-West Florida, Central Appalachian Missionary, Florida, Iowa, Louisiana, North Alabama, North Georgia, Oklahoma Indian Missionary, and Oregon-Idaho.
The team will also participate in several events connected to our work, including the Global Young People’s Convocation (GYPC) in Dublin, Ireland; the Conference on Safeguarding Against Sexual Violence in Churches in Warsaw, Poland, hosted by The Community of Protestant Churches in Europe; and the DS/DCM Training at Lake Junaluska. Staff will also gather for a quarterly retreat and travel to Calgary for a site visit in preparation for monitoring the Leadership Gathering in October.
As we travel throughout the summer, we will continue sharing updates and highlighting our work, while pausing our regular weekly article schedule. This season offers space to listen, reflect on what we are hearing and experiencing, and embrace opportunities for rest and renewal. Our regular publishing schedule will resume on August 1, 2026.
