With delegate elections for the 2028 General Conference already underway in several Annual Conferences, observing this process and documenting the newly elected delegates is part of GCSRW's continued monitoring mandate. To help support this work, we have developed an addendum to the Monitoring Toolkit called the Election Monitoring Packet.
You can utilize this packet and corresponding documents to help monitor these critical aspects of your Annual Conference sessions. Find them on the Monitoring page of our website along with our other Monitoring resources. Should you need guidance or consultation around any of these efforts, contact Rev. Katrena King, Director of Monitoring & Resource Development.
About the General Commission on the Status and Role of Women
The General Commission on the Status and Role of Women advocates for full participation of women in the total life of The United Methodist Church. GCSRW helps the church recognize every person – clergy and lay, women and men, adults and children – as full and equal parts of God’s human family. They believe that a fully engaged and empowered membership is vital to The United Methodist Church’s mission "to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” Learn more at GCSRW.org.
