United Methodist Communications supports annual conferences in reaching new audiences and strengthening their public presence. We offer billboard and outdoor advertising campaigns, church signage and visibility projects, and context-based marketing initiatives tailored to conference needs.
Sharing the story of United Methodist ministry is central to our work. We support conference communicators in telling the story of the church through clear, compelling content. We provide collaboration in article writing, guidance on communicating conference news, and support in amplifying the story of The UMC.
Through partnership with United Methodist Broadcast, we help conferences expand their media ministries and reach wider audiences through live-streaming of events, podcasting, video production, and development of radio ministries.
We provide technology services that help conferences maintain reliable digital infrastructure. We provide internet connectivity for episcopal offices, web hosting assistance for conference websites, and web training for conference staff and communicators.
United Methodist Communications helps develop communication leaders across the connection. We created Strategic Communications Certificate Course in partnership with Africa University. We also provide online training for district communicators and resources that strength communication skills within annual conferences.
United Methodist Communications also partners with conferences on special projects that align with our mission of strengthening communication across The United Methodist Church.
