June invites us to live out perfect love through joyful service. As communities gather for annual conferences, we renew our covenant to serve Christ with glad and generous hearts. Our connectional life reminds us that joyful service is never solitary—it is shared across the body of Christ.

Father’s Day and Juneteenth invite reflection on legacy, freedom, and faithfulness. We give thanks for those who have served with courage and for the continuing call to serve joyfully in pursuit of liberation and love.

We also remember John Wesley’s birthday this month—a time to celebrate the movement that calls us to “spread scriptural holiness throughout the land.” Let that holiness shine through joyful acts of service that honor God and neighbor.
