Serve Joyfully: Rooted in Grace, Overflowing in Love
As we continue our Lenten journey, we are invited to follow Jesus—the One who came not to be served but to serve. Even in sacrifice, his life was marked by joy, compassion, and a deep love for others. In this season, we are reminded that service isn’t a burden or a task—it’s a joyful response to the grace we’ve already received.
March also celebrates Women’s History Month. We give thanks for the women whose faithful service has shaped our Church: pastors and prophets, teachers and caregivers, leaders whose ministries have expanded our understanding of God’s love in the world. Their stories remind us that joyful service has always been at the heart of Christian witness.
May these resources help your congregation discover new ways to serve with glad and generous hearts—offering hope, hospitality, and the joy of Christ to their communities and beyond.
